Attorneys, family of Maryland woman killed by police sigh relief of jury’s $37 million rule

The family of Korryn Gaines breathe some relief after a jury awarded them $37 million dollars in damages in the death of Korryn Gaines.

The money will be doled out to Gaines’ parents, sister and children. Her son, Kodi Gaines who was struck twice by officer’s gunfire during the shooting, will receive the largest sum. The family and their attorney’s held a press conference following Friday’s decision.
