Matito presents Only in L.A.: The best donuts in the free world

1 min read

I explored an important part of food culture in Los Angeles, the donut.

In this episode, I traveled to the West Side to what I call, “The Best Donuts in the Free World.” Primo’s Donuts, a family-owned business for more than 60 years, was started by Mr. and Mrs. Primo.

For over six decades with many early mornings and family help, they created a delicious mastermind that is a staple for truck drivers and the community.

Often, they sell out of their delectable pastries with the lines forming early in the morning. People cannot wait to bite into a delicious donut made in many ways.
