‘I’ve never felt the city’s pulse like this. I’ve never felt the city mourn like this.’ The passing, life and impact of Nipsey Hussle

Entertainment industry executive and musician, Dame Crawford briefly talks about how Nipsey Hussle’s life and his work reached far wider than he knew.

It was after his death and detailing the response of the city leading up to Hussle’s funeral on Thursday, that Crawford realized he was bigger than many people knew. On the other side, his death for Crawford triggered a time in Los Angeles where gang violence caused many young people to fall. However, Crawford sees Hussle’s passing as a door that opened for the Southern California city to walk through and be better.

Dame Crawford aka Yung Dame is a music industry executive who also has a regular podcast called, Uncouth Radio. Any other time, he’s rocking out with his band, Wylde Bunch at concerts and venues around the world.
