On Wednesday, the top five Democratic candidates participated in their ninth debate. The debate took place in Nevada, right before the state’s primary voting scheduled for this Saturday. While all eyes were on Michael Bloomberg, the billionaire Democratic candidate who entered into the debate arena for the first time, the attention quickly turned to Elizabeth Warren who came out the boxing corner with guns blazing. She did not stop shooting until the end.
From g-checking Bloomberg on his records of sexual harassment and support of racial discrimination in housing to gutting Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar’s plans, Warren saved much of her ammunition for Bloomberg and Joe Biden. Using Biden as target practice and Bloomberg for direct hits, Warren left the stage as the clear winner.

Reports show that after the debate, donations for Warren and Bernie Sanders are almost $3 million a day. As Bloomberg licks his wounds from a weak debate performance, Pete Buttigieg and Amy Klobuchar regroup from a mediocre debate. On the other hand, Warren is climbing out of a slump as she fights to stay visible with the entry of Bloomberg and his billion dollar war chest.
