Sham, Shame or Shitshow? Breaking down the issues in the first presidential debate

This first of three presidential debates started with a collective WTF?

Four the “Weekly Check In,” podcast, host Rolanda Spencer talks to Lisa Durden and Mikhail Furnace about Donald Trump and Joe Biden presidential debate on September 29. Spencer, Durden and Furnace covered some of the main topics of the candidates’ first public sparring such as Covid 19, the economy, policing, voting and the threat of Civil Unrest. 

While most of the debate centered Trump’s response on the coronavirus pandemic, there were other key issues around African American communities. The Weekly Check In host and guest got into their own intense discussion on dirty debate tactics, and some of the issues the two candidates flipped or flopped on.
