In the second part of Ark Republic’s interview with #ADOS members Chad Brown, Mark Stevenson and Reggie, we shift the focus to the political sphere and also talk about what they see as solutions in restorative acts for those descended from slaves in the US.

Considered an important time for elections, #ADOS discusses how Black voters representing descendants of slaves need to demand for more representation rather than vote according to the expectations of the establishment. With the focus of reparations and being owed restorative justice as a result of slavery and years of systemic disenfranchisement, the group details how a shift in voter consciousness places more accountability on those seeking the Black vote.
