Who gets the funds in the Black Lives Matter Movement? Michael Brown’s father is looking for them

Since the launch of Black Lives Matter movement in 2012, there is reportedly over $1 to $2 billion raised in the multiple efforts over the years. Now as families of those tragically murdered still deal with the ramifications of their children’s death, some begin to publicly question how and where money is funneled.

Michael Brown Sr’s son was killed by Ferguson police in August of 2014. Michael Brown Jr, who died at 18-years-old became a central death in Black Lives Matter movement, a movement that has received well over $1 billion dollars. But, Brown Sr wants $20 million of the money donated. In this segment of Weekly Check In, we talk about the movement, the money and the repercussions of a hashtag that changed the world.
