Weak economy, plus unpromising voting rights bill being passed places more pressure on Biden Administration

Seven years after Baltimore’s city attorney, Marilyn Mosby charged police officers in the killing of Freddie Gray, there are those who still say “Off with her head.” She ain’t budging though, just like the Republicans, and moderate Democrats Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W. Va.) and Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) on the voting rights bill.

2022 is already starting off on a low note for many. At Ark Republic’s Weekly Check In, we look into some damning indictments and accusations; as well, we give a quick and dirty assessment of the economy, the flailing and in-fighting of the Democratic party plus the no-go on the voting rights bill. So, many African American voters are asking President Biden, “What have you done for me lately?”
