Donta McMillan alleges he was mercilessly beaten by New Jersey Department of Corrections officers

New Jersey Department of Corrections (NJDOC) has come under scrutiny with its litany of police brutality lawsuits. Donta McMillan is one of them.

Donta McMillan is one of several lawsuits alleging police brutality by corrections officers. Ark Republic spoke to McMillan’s attorney, Cynthia Hardaway, who says McMillan alleges he was made an example for other inmates after a scuffle between a detainee and a correctional officer.
